ABOUT

​

I was born in Istanbul in 1986. After finishing my studies in design departments at Yeditepe University-Istanbul and at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti-Milano, I started Transformist Design company in 2011 where I produced multifunctional seatings, lighting elements and bespoke furnitures. I have also realized various commercial and residential projects in different countries of the world like Turkey, Italy, Switzerland, Greece, UAE and Lebanon.

 

As a design entrepreneur, I have made some collaborations with European technology companies in the field of wearable tech and innovative products such as smart assistants and home control systems.

In 2015, I was the festival resident manager at Turkey's first Light Festival organized in Istanbul. I worked with artists and groups from 15 different countries.  

​

In 2016, I have become the co-founder and designer of A Pera SRL based in Milan / Italy, which is a design office and production company that makes flexible solution partnership with international architecture firms and design studios to create user centred products.

​

Since 2018, I work as an independent designer based in Milan. My essential set of skills are conceptualization, ideation, researching and sketching while working with various groups to collect and generate ideas for the next generation of products and spaces.

​

My work experience is mainly focused on creating design solutions with a holistic design approach from scratch to mass production phase, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

​

Needs, functions, innovation and minimalism are the key factors of my designs. Mostly geometric, sculptural shapes and multifunctionality are their common characteristics.

​

I collaborate in all scales and I'd like to welcome proposals / project commissions from all realms of art, product-interior design and technology.
